1. Eligibility
    Open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
    Employees of Illuminator, event partners, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  2. How to Enter
    Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
    To enter, complete the competition form and provide a valid email address.
    Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
  3. Competition Period
    The competition closes on 30th September 2025.
    Entries received after the closing date will not be counted.
  4. Prizes
    The first prize is an entry to Illuminator 2025 (any distance), a Petzl head torch, and a copy of Running in the Dark by Jen Scotney. The second prize is an entry to Illuminator (any distance) and a Petzl head torch.

    Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered.

    Illuminator reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary.

  5. Winner Selection & Notification
    Winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries.

    The winner will be notified by email within 2 days of the closing date.

    If a winner does not respond within 5 days, Illuminator reserves the right to select another winner.

  6. Data Protection
    By entering, you agree that your email will be added to the Illuminator, Girls on Hills and Petzl marketing database.

    Your data will be used to administer the competition and to send you event news, offers and updates from all three companies involved in the competition.

  7. General
    Illuminator accepts no responsibility for entries not received for any reason (including technical issues).

    Illuminator reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the competition where necessary.
